North Texas is bringing back nearly their entire offense from a year ago and going against a UTEP defense that has all kinds of missing pieces from a year ago. UTEP was solid on the defensive end last year, but have failed to fill many key holes on the defensive end.
On the flip side of the ball, Gavin Hardison can sling the rock. While UTEP is not returning many starters on the offensive end, they have the most important piece. Their offense ranked Top-5 in EPA per pass attempt last year thanks to Hardison. As the season progressed last year, they went to the air more & more. In the opening game against a young/new North Texas defense... Let's see some points!
